SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regards to the large range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area regularly. The services position established for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more means to enable the servicing of all consumers and raise usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
